Overview

The Waka is an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) sport and trainer aircraft. It is specifically designed as a stable, forgiving transition model that bridges the gap between basic beginner trainers and more advanced aerobatic planes.

Specifications:

Wingspan:62.6in (1590mm)
Length:Approx. 49.2in (1250mm)
Flying Weight:Approx. 2.8kg
Wing Profile:Thick, semi-symmetrical (20%)

Design & Build

The fuselage is built of laser-cut balsa and plywood, while the wings are built-up, sheeted structures. The large wing area and thick airfoil allow the Waka to perform graceful sport aerobatics like loops and rolls, while remaining incredibly stable and predictable during slow flight and landing approaches.
